For schools, homes and organisations
What does CareRise Group do?
We are a recruitment agency. We discuss staffing needs with schools, SEND settings, children’s residential homes and care and support organisations, and propose support workers for roles we can help with. We don’t run schools, homes or care services ourselves.
Which roles can you help with?
Support workers, children’s residential support workers, SEND support workers and learning support assistants. Teaching assistant roles and some care and support organisation roles depend on our confirmed recruitment scope, so ask us first.
Do you provide nurses or clinical staff?
No. We don’t supply nursing, clinical, therapy or medical staff, and our workers don’t carry out clinical procedures.
Can you cover at short notice?
Sometimes. Tell us what you need and we’ll say honestly whether we can help. An enquiry doesn’t guarantee staffing cover.
What checks do your workers have?
We intend to complete identity and right-to-work checks, references and employment history, qualification checks, and the appropriate DBS check with barred-list information where the role is eligible. These standards are awaiting final approval. See our Safeguarding page.
Can we see the checks before someone starts?
Yes. We intend to give you confirmation of the checks completed so you can satisfy yourself that a worker is suitable before they begin.
Who supervises a worker on placement?
Your setting does. Workers follow your policies, plans and direction. We agree induction and supervision arrangements with you first, and we want your feedback.
What does it cost?
Charges depend on the role, hours and type of assignment. We’ll explain our terms before any work begins.
Which areas do you cover?
Our coverage area is being confirmed. Tell us where your setting is when you enquire.
Read our safeguarding standards or make a staffing enquiry.
For candidates
Do I need experience?
Experience supporting children, young people or adults helps, paid or unpaid. Some roles need specific experience or qualifications, which we’ll explain.
Do I need a DBS check?
Most roles need an enhanced DBS check, and some also need barred-list information. We’ll explain what’s needed and how the check is arranged before you are put forward.
Do I need to send my CV or documents now?
No. Registering only needs the short online form. Please don’t send identity documents or certificates by email or through the website. We’ll explain how to share them securely when the time comes.
Does registering guarantee work?
No. Registration doesn’t guarantee work. Requirements, availability and terms vary by role.
Can I choose my hours and settings?
Tell us your preferences and availability when you register. We’ll only suggest roles that match them.
What about pay and training?
Pay and terms depend on the role and will be confirmed before you accept any work. We’ll tell you which training each role requires.
